George brings over 20 years of executive search experience across Alternatives and Private Markets. For the past 15 years, he has specialised in senior-level fundraising and capital formation mandates across Europe, the Middle East, and North America, partnering closely with GPs as a trusted advisor.
He possesses deep, embedded knowledge of the GP and fundraising landscape, supported by long-standing, highly trusted relationships across the global capital-raising community. This network enables both speed of execution and absolute discretion on sensitive searches.
Prior to founding EquiVenture, George was a Partner at Hogarth Davies Lloyd, where he led the firm’s Private Markets Distribution practice across Europe and North America. Previously, he served as a Managing Director at a New York headquartered executive search firm dedicated exclusively to Alternative distribution. He began his career covering Hedge Funds and Global Markets.
George holds a BA in Politics from the University of Bristol.
